NEXT LOGICAL STEP FOR IDEAL
20 May 2010
Following hot on the heels of the success of its energy-efficient combi model, Ideal Heating has expanded the innovative Logic range of boilers.
The Logic Heat and the Logic System models have been introduced to meet the demand from installers, who are often asked to fit like-for-like replacement appliances in older housing stock. Available also in advanced + versions complete with a 5 year parts and labour warranty, Ideal has a wide range of appliances suitable to meet the needs of virtually any installation.
The SEDBUK A-rated System and Heat models are available in outputs of 15kW, 18kW, 24kW and 30kW (with the latter also available as a 12kW model), and boast the same installer-friendly features as their combi cousin.
Lift weights are low, at 23kg for the Heat and 28kg for the System, and the dimensions match those of the compact Logic Combi too, meaning they can be installed in a standard kitchen cupboard - always a key consideration for the house-proud end user.
Another useful feature that has been retained is the clear digital operating and diagnostics display, while a variety of fluing options (including a direct rear flue kit for the Heat model, and optional stand-off kits for either models) makes for a more straightforward installation when replacing an existing appliance. Frost protection is built in on both System and Heat products, while weather compensation controls are available as an option.
As with the existing combi model, it's not just the installation of the new Logic boilers that is quick and easy; servicing is too. The 75mm condensate syphon is translucent to allow blockages and debris to be spotted at a glance, while the case itself is designed with a small depression inside to catch any water that may be spilt during the process.
The Logic+ version of both the Heat and System products has an industry-leading five year parts and labour warranty, and its Logic counterpart, two years. This extended warranty demonstrates Ideal's dedication to its customers, from purchase to installation and beyond, ensuring optimum reliability now and in the future.
